Dubai Airport Terminal 3

Dubai Airport Terminal 3, opened on 14th October 2008, is one of the largest terminals in the world and is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The cost to build Terminal 3 is around US$4.5 billion and was exclusive for Emirates flights till 2012. It has 3 concourses, A, B and C, with 32 gates and an annual capacity of almost 43 million passengers

The Dubai Airport Terminal 3 has more than 30 shops, merchandise and restaurants. The bus route allotted to Terminal 3 is 32C and C1. The structural system of DXB Terminal 3 consists of a steel frame roof with glass facades, and the total area of Terminal 3 is 1,713,000 square meters.

The Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 has 3 main parts: Concourse A, B and C with their own boarding gates, shopping zones and duty-free waiting areas, and stores. The best thing about Terminal 3 is that it has an automated luggage handling system and smart check-ins.

International flights land in Terminal 1 or 3, whereas Emirates and FlyDubai use Terminal 3 for arrivals. There are 2 immigration counters, 12 e-gates and 14 baggage carousels in Terminal 3 DXB. 

After leaving the plane at the terminal, the passengers are transported to Immigration and Passport Control. After that, the passengers are led towards the baggage claim and customs clearance.

All Flights of Emirates, and Fly Dubai, and some flights of Air Canada, and United Airlines depart from Terminal 3, Dubai. 

When travelling from Dubai Terminal 3, the passengers first go to the Check-in counter. After checking in, they get a boarding pass and head towards Security Screening, and then they can enter Terminal 3 after clearance.

Terminal 3 is located in the Al Garhoud district, Dubai, and it was designed by a French Architecture firm named Aéroports de Paris (ADPi). The construction of Terminal 3 started in November 2004 and was completed by 14 October 2008.

DXB Terminal 3 has its own designated parking lots offering short-stay and long-stay car parks. The short-stay car parks are accessible and within walking distance. If you want to stay at the airport for an extended time, you can choose the long-stay option.  The payment procedures for parking in Terminal 3 DXB are Scan, Pay and Go, and you can pay via Apple Pay, Master Card or Visa Card.
